A book made out of rice straw grown on decontaminated fields.
Although 25.000 hectares of farmland were contaminated by the Fukushima nuclear disaster, our innovative decontamination initiative is helping farmers grow safe rice again. Regardless, no one buys it because people don’t understand the data that proves the rice is safe.
Made in Fukushima is a book made from decontaminated rice straw from fields of Fukushima that turns data into understanding. The book was sent to leader in the food and environmental sectors, generating conversation and raising sales of Fukushima rice worldwide.
